Elementary Principal (205 days)

Certifications:
– Elementary principal license issued in the State of Indiana
- Completion of a Master’s Degree from an accredited university and five years of successful teaching experience. Strong preference will be given for three years of administrative experience in leading professional learning communities, data teams, or similar school improvement efforts or initiatives.
Qualifications:
– Communicates the building and district goals to the instructional staff,
parents, students and community
- Leads staff in improving the school curriculum and the instructional program
- Effectively supervises and evaluates instructional and school service personnel assigned to the attendance center
- Monitors achievement and progress of students
- Promotes a positive school climate
- Plans and organizes the tasks and activities necessary to efficiently and effectively operate the school
- Communicates effectively
- Strong decision-maker
- Sets and communicates high expectations for the faculty, staff and students
- Continues professional growth and provides the instructional staff with opportunities for professional growth
- Establishes a strong home-school connection
- Serves as a member of the Administrative Council
- Performs other duties as delegated by the Superintendent
Responsibilities:
Provides instructional leadership, supervision, and organization in support of the educational development of each student.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience
